Don Tapscott
Don Tapscott was our very first client, and defined the direction of Block Theory as a company.
Caitlin Connors met Don Tapscott in 2014 and started managing Don’s social media accounts.
Block Theory set up the majority of Don’s social media accounts, acted as the liaison between the reps from the social platforms, and managed his social media accounts as he spoke at conferences around the world across.
From 2014 to 2016 Caitlin built up Don’s social media accounts and following from one Twitter account with 30,000 followers to a million followers across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
Blockchain Revolution
Don decided to write his next book on the topic of Blockchain in 2014.
Blockchain Revolution was one of the very first books about the blockchain, published in May of 2016.
Because Don had a million collective followers, the book launch received 10 million hits on the first day (for free!), and became an international Best Seller, selling millions of copies across the world.
TedTalk
Caitlin helped design Don Tapscott’s TedTalk presentation, How Blockchain is Changing Money and Business, which has now received over six million views, making it one of the most successful TedTalk's on technology.
Blockchain Research Institute
After Blockchain Revolution was published in 2016, Caitlin helped with the development of Don Tapscott’s new research company, the Blockchain Research Institute.
Since then Block Theory has been part of the overarching effort to spread brand awareness and bring in members to the Blockchain Research Institute, which aims to bring together the world’s top global researchers to undertake ground-breaking research on blockchain technology.
